In the new production VIEL.ES, Bufo Makmal explores the themes of diversity and diversity. To do this, they create an innovative setting that playfully transforms the content-related discussion into an ingenious form: the staging principle is based on the individual interpretation of the same tasks and a composition that results from this. By using signals in the areas of light, music and voice, the dancer collective builds a network that makes unexpected coming together and parting possible in a non-sticky, non-psychological way. In this sense, in the production of VIEL.ES, content, aesthetics and function are intertwined to form a complex, fragmented, but nevertheless unified whole. After their successful debut ALL.ES, the short version of which is being shown in many cities as part of Tanzfaktor and Tanzplan Ost, the Basel group BUFO MAKMAL is now going for a second stroke. Again, the development is structured collectively and takes place in close cooperation with the entire artistic team.
