For this project, the Morphological Institute worked with wrestlers, yodelers, actors, dancers and amateurs to capture the tradition in a cinematic, choreographic and spatial way.

Heimatschauer is a kind of national exhibition. It is an installation that extends over several rooms and themes and in which visitors can move freely between the various attractions. In a mixture of ghost train and folk festival, traditions are broken down and rituals dismantled in order to create something new and beautiful from all these fragments. The live event becomes a media event, the body material takes on the habitus of the Swiss servelate celebrities as we know them from illustrated magazines, in order to transform, disturb and disturb from there.

The film COLLISION COURSE. A LOCAL TALK WITH SADNESS is the foundation stone for a very special kind of Swiss panorama. In the cellar of the ROXY Birsfelden, the horror of home wafts through the ghost train, while outside in the courtyard, folklore creates absurd forms in the spirit of the good, noble and funny. A celebration!!! With sausages, beers and World Cup games.
