The idea of a true gender has not been eliminated even today. We are flooded with stereotypical gender images. The discussion of gender roles in the media is often reduced to platitudes and also reproduces stereotypes of masculinity and femininity. The gender discourse is so complex that it requires a separate study to find one's way around it. For this reason, the production ABSTRACTS OF MEN sought a subjective approach to the field of masculinity. It is an attempt to find an approach to the debate that has been going on in public for several years about the identity crisis of masculinity on various levels. The starting point of the production is the director's attentive and inquisitive view of men. The three performers Arthur Romanowski, Yves Regenass and Friedolin Müller came together for the first time as part of this production and, over the course of a few weeks, put themselves in relation to each other and to other men. Each in his own way, they collected and wrote down stories of encounters with other men.
